URGENT HELP NEEDED PLEASE.

I just went to start my car, (clio 1.2) and it seems to have died.

There is no noise when I turn the key and the engine doesn't start.

I turn the key and nothing happens. All lights/electrics work, could the problem be the starter motor or ignition?

Help needed please! Many thanks.

Before you do anything else, try and jump start it.

lol, my old 1.2 clio wouldn't start once. A passing friendly mechanic stopped and started whacking the starter motor. Turned out to be a dodgy earth strap.

Should of seen the look on my face when he got his hammer out the van :rasp:

i had the same prob it was the earth strap was loose
