**URGENT** - Engine help

had some major problems with my engine this week, just spent 500 on new parts to fix the faults that come up on ECU diagnostics and they havent fixed the problem. so been looking for another engine....

curently in the car is:
1.6 16valve k4m 748 block
the car is a 2000 X plate RSi

Possible new engine:
1.6 16valve k4m 700 block

both engines look identicle, but whats the difference with them (ie: 748/700 number) and will it be a direct replcement.

Any help needed ASAP before i buy the engine and it turn out to be wrong.

should fit the latter numbers just indicate slight differences within the engine but as long as its a k4m should ok. what the k4m 700 engine out off?

i sorted it now though.... managed to find a k4m 748 block with 42k on with paperwork to prove, gonna have new injectors, plugs, oil, filter, new belts including cambelt, coil packs, polished alloy rocker and mounts, and then i might get round to fittin it
