Not truely clio related but figured I'd get more info from here.
I run RC6 pads in the front of my meg. Under harsh braking the rear gets abit fidgity - Controlable but fidgity. Would some stronger pads in the rear (such as RC5's) make this better or worse. This is my only real gripe about the set up (well and the RC6's feel but I digress). The car trail brakes nicely as it is but It's just a little lively when you stomp on the stop pedel, even in straight lines.
I'm changing the rear disks anyway just not sure on the pad choice to keep the rear in check.
