Thinking of changing headunit!

I am thinking of changing my standard headunit in clio 182 but can i get an after market one that shows the display at the top still? also has direct ipod connection so i can control that on the stalk controls. Advice please.

You will loose the display (only the clock and temperature will remain when using an aftermarket headunit), stalk adapters are available separately for most head units.

Although the cable you're referring to (KCE-940B-R3) appears to have been discontinued.

could be just a local UK thing, had to get mine from France, the Dutch importer said they were discontinued too.

btw this was after trying three generic cables that promised the same thing.....

The alpine stalk adapter was circa £80 RRP when it was available in the UK. The Connects2 for an update list headunit is about £25.

i.e. £55 to show track listing (which is on the headunit anyway) instead of the word "renault..."

ok thanks for the info and i suppose it dont really matter losing the display.
