Cheers Brazo, I missed the tide as I wanted to get on the island, next time!
The B&W works really well with your shot.

Went with a couple lads fishing today for the first time, mainly to test my new 70-200 lens out (LOVE IT) thanks for the advice on choosing this lens!. Was badly overcast so had to bump the iso up for it on every shot but performed epic. At Elthwaite water

How in the hell did you manage to capture that Pike (I think) coming out like that?!? Incredible!

How do you delete the rig from the photo?
Theres loads of questions I have, and I'm useless when it comes to editing too. Wish I could take it a bit more seriously

Thankyou guys, really appreciate the kind comments.

Tbh I was abit gutted I hadn't captured the pike 100%, was quicker than I anticipated. VTT, the pike was putting up a proper fight, so I had my eye on it coming in and just got it on its last attempt for escape!

Aaron, get one! You won't be disappointed. Great value for money "L" series telephoto!

As soon as my pay rise comes through I think I'll get one, unless I spot one in NY next month, although a fisheye is on the cards when I get there.

I like that, did you use ND filters?

Cheers. I didn’t use an ND filter because it was taken using my fisheye so I can’t add an ND filter unless I got one of the small gelatin ones that insert at the rear of the lens. It was one of the limiting factors in this shot actually, it was too bright to get a longer exposure. I may try again in lower light so that I can maybe get 2 or 3 seconds rather than 1 second.

Sometimes you just capture a memory and this is one of my favorite pics for a while (pic from facebook - not true quality).

Great shots there, Piers.
Really like the variety and creativity of all the shots.
I love my 10-22, just gutted I've lent it to the missus and she is in the US!

Love the Waterfall mate, although i'd be inclined to crop the little bit of white sky and remove the vignette(?) The colours in the other two seem a little over saturated.
