Top work!
Cheers Revels.

Look forward to seeing more pictures of the Titanium, maybe sometime around... never?

Those the original wheels? Still look mint!
Thanks mate, they were refurbed by the previous owner last Feb, i'd like to do them again soon. :)

Still original wheels from the factory though.

Hi mate, any wheel cleaner will do, tardis and iron X plus claying will help with the final finish then Prime Strong and A sealant of some kind.

What he said!

Interesting thread. Interesting car. Good work. It must be fantastic to have all that space and equipment at your disposal.

Do these handle better than a Megane 250?

  Clio
Nice effort, I love the restore rather than modify way.

Can I ask why you didn't massage the wheels by hand when sealing them?

  Listerine & Poledo
Frrrrrrrrrrrrp

love it. FRP's > Every other Ford*

I wont be reading part 2 though. Threads dedicaed to the art of washing the car? Please, may as well have one asking about what wheels the world thinks you should buy ;)

*: RS200, RS500 and Escort Coswroth excluded

bet that wont have been cheap!

i done dampers all round, springs all round both track rods, track rod ends, both bottom arms both ball joints, both top mounts, both driveshafts and all ARB bushes on my old ph2 172 and had John @ progrip set it up and it was the best money i spent on the car came in at nearly a grand all in!! ordering the same list for my ph1 172 for the summer

John has a gadgey new workshop too i hear, ive not saw it yet

Good read! I do have a bit of a soft spot for this car. You're doing it just as well by believing it can be better by just replacing OE parts.

Amazed at how good the britegel is! stunning results!

It's ideal to be honest mate and the boss doesn't mind.

It's quicker than the smeg due to the fact the smeg owner will be too busy setting up his G-spot meter and i'll be away out in front. ;)

I can't take you serious but I sealed the outside by hand and the inside by foam applicator.

Thanks, Peter.

Good work. Lovely car.
Cheers, Jon. Hope things are good with the little un'.

Good work gal.

Cheers, shagger.

Very nice Gally bhoy! Il hand the golf to you when I get it

Would be a pleasure mate, we can fire in about it together, hopefully you enjoy the paint work write up aswell. "I just can't get enough" iirc.

Looks good sir! Look forward to seeing it come the summer month meets :)

Yeah mate, have another decent blast in it this time and feel the difference in it now. :)

He's a great sounding chap mate, spoke to him quite a few times on the phone now so in the next 2 weeks i'll head up I think, he worked with Ford for a long time aswell so he mentioned he was really looking forward to working on an FRP.

Thanks again guys.

  Clio
I only asked because I read that thread about the bloke with the VXR do his by massaging it lol.

Did I actually just see polished up door catches? Gally!

They are mate, if you look at how dirty the cloth is you'll see how dirty they come brand new!

All cleansed and protected. Ghey? Yes!

Wow, that's proper OCD that dude!

I do think you'd actually have a dirt induced stroke if you saw the state of my car lol.
Honestly I wouldn't mate, my paintwork is far from perfect. New bits need "the" treatment though!

  DCi 100
Only skimmed through for now,

Are those large sized nitrile gloves though? If you wear a medium you'll have a much easier time with them being more fitted tbh.

Got a lot of time for this! FLOL at the Door catches, absolutely brilliant work! Looking forward to part 2

FRP's look awesome tbh - would love one someday; not as a daily - just to keep in the garage. I have to confess to photoshopping one lowered a fair amount, and it looked like a genuine supercar. Mmmmmmm.
