speedo dying then coming back 1.2 16v 2001

Hi, I've got a d4f712 engine 1.2 16v (Y)2001 and the speedo was occasionally dropping to zero then few minutes later coming back on. Now its mostly dead (using phone with gps speedo)
Any ideas/ photo showing what the speedo sensor looks like and its position. (no abs on this car)
Is it just an unbolt and rebolt?

think this is on a 172, if its the same place its at the back of the gear box close to exhaust

Cheers for that looks like I'll have to borrow old mans garage don't fancy that in a dark street.

whack the filter inlet pipe off and should be able to get it

its held in with a tab that you need to press in to realise it. but if you pull and twist they normally come out without damage.
can get a non OE replacement from ebay for less than £10 delivered.

Just noticed Id only done 115miles on a tank this might not be too bad for the millage on the car! lol
