Seatbelts

Hi,

I stripped my car out and now putting it all back in. Cannot get the seatbelts to go back as the tensioners wont let out any slack. Anyone know how to get them to work??

I have tried bolting them in, but I can only bolt one side as there is little play in them.

Please anyone... I have tried bolting it in and pulling it, putting it on a table... nothing... HELP
