scorpian back box trouble help advice needed

hi i have bought a scorpian imola back box for my 172 cup 2003 ive took the standard back box of wich is attached to a standard syestem but the two pipes dont meet the syestem end is faceing up and the back box end is pretty much staight wicth a slight angel upwards making it impossible for them to meet ive been told buy the supplier that this is the correct back box ......... so am i missing a connection or somthing

If it's the one I'm thinking of that I have, (4 inch inward rolled tip) you need the center pipe as well, it will not fit the standard mid pipe in any way, shape or form.

I'm not aware of a scorpion back box that fits a standard mid pipe.
