next up i torqued up the front and rear bolts for the subframe! 105 rear 67 front!

and then the subframe support brackets to 60

one of the f*****s snapped in the chasis! so had to drill it out and re-tap ! nightmare!

You've still got both horns mate, unplug and remove one and will still work fine on just the one horn.

cool was thinking that today!

removed the carbon canister on the otherside today to fit the oil cooler for the supercharger

the engine oil cooler needs to be in the fog light on this side! more space = more air

fitted 1.2 degree

after reading a few posts and speaking to powerflex myself i have decided that i need to weld the metal shrouds on the wishbone bushes!

which ment taking part the ARB mounts, drop bar, bush bolts etc... t**t LOL

so did that...

then popped them on the bench in the vice

filed the green paint back for the weld!

welded them, re greased the bushes (plenty) and re assembled the wishbones (bolts to 90NM) ARB bolt to 20 NM

then did the same on the otherside!

next i had to change the battered brake lines on the front!

was a easy job with all the space.. key to brake unions is a good quality 11mm spanner LOL

new lines made up

and fitted into the ABS block

You should have a bar here (mentioned before). Quite critical as obviously provides B Pillar side impact protection.

dont ever see bars there on any cages.

i am guess the strength of the main hoop, coupled with being welded in palce etc provides enough.

unless you put a 'X' section in like WRC cars etc run.

Ive just been looking on the manufacturer pics and there aint one there...

however, the new OMP design is quite different but does have strengthing in that area.
