The Sachs have covered 170 miles since being refurbed at BG Motorsport @ Silverstone, Eibach springs are new from DTM.

C&C welcome. Thanks.

Nice. Engine looks good.

I sprayed mine silver and looks terrible. I'll be doing mine black/charcoal and after seeing yours I definitely will be!
Looks v nice against the yellow cover.

Bolts are a nice touch too.

I also have a black bat cover waiting to be fitted as well as a used poly bushed dog bone mount too.... how strange

A few minor changes.
Fitted a new Milltek de-res center pipe, its now louder but not as loud as a decat res Milltek.
Borrowed some turini's for a week, now I'm pretty settled that I must buy turini's as daily wheels.

So, I'm looking to buy a set. Hint.

Also bought and fitted a Vibratechnics top mount. This has improved things no end! New bolts whilst i was there, obviously.

Hello.
I've neglected this thread in recent weeks so here is a large catch up.

Oulton park, 31/03/15.
The car was again faultless, ran 1155 pads on the front with HC discs and new OE rear disc/pads from brembo. First time out on the Sachs suspension/eibach springs. the Sachs in standard form are softer that cup shocks but allow you to push much harder through the corner.
I also bought a set of standard Clio 15" wheels to fit my 195/50/15 AD08's to, in the wet i was on the turinis fitted with 205/45/16 michelin exacto. After lunch having re-learned the car I was lapping consistently fast. Certainly in the top 5 of cars throughout the day, many people praised the car.
I set out with only 20 psi in the front tyres and 25 in the rear. after each stint the hot pressures were 35/30. So, a quick guesstimate shows i was putting 15 degrees into the front tyres after 6-10 laps which is as some of you will know, pushing hard.

The suspension/brakes/tyre combo really aided confidence. here are some RAW photos from the day.

I then used the 1155's for 2-3 weeks on the road... Which was horrible.
After being exposed to such high temperatures the pads change characteristics, its honestly like having no brakes at all until they are very hot. So I currently run 1144's on the road.
Next track day is 25/08/15 - Oulton park, RenaultSport day.

Currently looking into stiffer springs, unpinning the Sachs, solid top mounts and some form of better gearbox mount.

General photos..
