  A special one.
Cheers mate. Spray cans or tin?
So this is my little trick but don't tell anyone.
I gave them a light coat with a brush from a tin, leave it to dry for a bit then give it another nice coat. Leaving the fist coat to dry give it a nice base and also a bit of a build up.

Once the 2nd coat has had 1/2 he to dry I then gave them 2 coats with the spay can. This smoothes out the brush marks and gives them a great finish.

I've got a bit of form for this ha!

I prefer them naked. I removed a sprint off my cup, looked good from the side, but I was never sold on it from the rear really

As far as I'm aware they are awful to fit.

I think it'll most likely stay as it is. I'm too much in two minds to commit 😂

Bloody loved them cars!

I was never a fan of spacers but they really do transform the look of the car and are a relatively cheap mod.

Looks good regardless.

I do believe I was talking to @rs 1an, nobody else. Maybe you have some insecurities you need to work through Ron? I'm always here if you need to talk darling:up:
How many points before I'm hanging out with Mr soft?😂

Had a service done at Engine Dynamics a couple of weeks ago and they informed me that the Aux belt had been changed but had been replaced with a s**t Gates belt that was looking quite perished. So I booked it in to have the belts done today.

I’ve been shitting my pants for two weeks thinking it might snap because it would be just my luck it would leg go immediately prior to getting it done.

Dropped it off this morning at about 8am and was kindly picked up by @rs 1an ‘s and spent the day at his car studio just down the road.

Got the phone call that all was complete and picked it up at about half 3.

An excellent price and even better service from Engine Dynamics. Can’t recommend this place highly enough.

Then went back to Ian’s place to give the car a full detail.

The front seats were minging but CarPro Inside soon sorted that out.

I didn’t get a chance to take any pics but needles to say it looks absolute epic. I’ll try and get a few shots tomorrow morning,

Still got a small list of things to do. Firstly a rear calliper needs replacing as it’s slightly weeping fluid from the bleed nipple and the steering wheel still needs a refurb. I’ll get the calliper done before CSF but the steering wheel will have wait. I’ve spent over a grand on the car in the last couple so I need to save up some more pennies.

Interesting to hear their opinion of the gates belt. There was a specialist, the name of which eludes me, on Facebook comparing the Renault aux kit and gates kit and they said the gates one had better pulleys than the Renault ones and the belt looked as good as the Renault one. When was it fitted Ronald? At some point Renault will stop supplying the belts and we will have to rely on other ones.
Looking forward to seeing it at csf Ron, little spoiler going on too?
