Being a phase one the janspeed off the shelf exhaust fits directly. K-tec sell it.

Does the 255 in the ph2 make any noticable difference to the 230? Are the ph2's a better drive in anyway? I don't know much about the v6.

Im not too sure tbh mate I think there's a few people who have gone from a ph1 to a ph2 so they would be the best to comment in the difference between them.

That is utterly exceptional, really well looked after that.

Ive been thinking about a ph2 v6 spoiler, there has just been a couple for sale on here too not long ago.

Love it! Agree with Danny above, Ph2 Rear end would finish it off nicely...But the V6clio.net purists would hate me for saying that!

I imagine ANY half decent trimmer will match standard ph1 fabrics so easily.


My advice, find a ph1 sport seat anywhere you can, just one, f**ked or not, it doesn't matter.


Rip the cover off of the seat and take it down to an upholsterers.


Leave the cover with them and ask they to source a leather and alcantara that's a good match and get them to give you a call when they have.


Then go take a look, make sure you're happy, and drop the cheap messed up recaro's down there.

Ive for a ph1 172 rear bench up in the loft so I can use that to match the fabric up. Haha I've got those accord seats in my watched list on eBay, they are only up the road too I could even pick them up tomorrow when I pick the car up & put them in he back of the Megane.

They did look great in the pictures I've seen they would have looked good in the sunflower too as they had yellow writing on them.

Years ago, I did consider getting some dark blue leather Pole Positions to match the interior, some dude had them in an a TT & they looked ace (iirc they were out of a Porsche lol) They weren't cheap so I didn't bother.

IMO Ph1 v6's really lose there appeal to me with the rear spoiler, if you could put a ph2 v6/trophy spoiler on it would really add to the aggressive lines of the v6 bodywork.

Standard it comes with slash cut tailpipes, but a a member of v6clio.net has just ordered one with straight. No i didn't video the car, but heres a pic:

+25hp but also +45kgs.

O-120mph ish, theres bugger all in it between them, the ph2 does ever so slightly creep ahead after that.

Handling wise, again very similar, big weight at rear and very little weight at the front, physics dictates the characteristics. Phase 2s had some understeer dialled into them, stiffer suspension and a slightly longer wheel base to make them easier to drive. Both great fun!!!!

I went to pick the car up saturday morning off James, had a cuppa & a chat, then set off back home from Newcastle. I reset the trip computer as i got out the Tyne Tunnel stuck to 70mph all the way home down the A19 & it returned 36mpg & round the town it was getting 27 then its dropped to 25. I cant argue with those figures at all, its better than the 197 was haha :clown:

The drive home was great i couldnt stop smiling, tbh i havnt stopped smiling the 3days ive had it. Ive drove it as much as i could i just love it, ive never owned a car that i want to drive so much till now.

The attention it gets is mad almost everybody looks at it & ive already had a few people asking questions about it & taking photos which is nice.

A friend has a Ph2 in titanium silver who onlys lives a mile away so i took it round his & we got some pictures of them together, ill upload those later.
