Rear shocks gone...wet!

  Clio Cup
When I got home from work yesterday I noticed a rear shock on my phase 1 172 was 'wet'.

What is the consensus here?
Stay with standard or change to 'cup' shocks?

I believe I need to do both rears at the same time but are there any other parts I should be changing at the same time?

£90ish for two. Dead easy to replace. Just use standard ones.

Ok cool. With just new bolts top and bottom?

What is is process to replace?

Just use the existing bolts. Loosen off the top mount in the boot, jack the car up, remove the lower shock bolt and switch the dampers.

Reverse to fit. Torque bottom shock bolt to 105nm.

I'm not sure if cup shocks will fit , I don't see why they wouldn't. Less than 66 quid here.

Or Phase 1 rear shocks , same price.

Yep - definitely had it that!

I think iirc, you need a 17mm socket for that bolt. Could be wrong be I recall it being a weird size when I did mine a good number of years back.
