question for y’all

My dad asked me if i want anything doing to my car for xmas. Ive weighed up the options and come up with these:

[*] Lowering
[*] Induction kit
[*] New Alloys (maybe, already got 15s on)
[*] Sound system (head unit, sub, 6x9s and amp package from max power)
[*] Bucket Seats

They are the options so far, as i havent thought of anything else..

Question:

If i get it lowered, what would you lot suggest i do it by its sat on 15" (195/50) tyres at the moment. I want it lower, but i dont want it to scrap without archwork.

If your going to get alloys, get some 17s and lower it by 60mm.
Will look the dogs danglees.

Alloys and lowering is always the best place to start.

well its already got some alloys on (15s like i said) so how much lower can i go without archwork?

how low is that??? thats marcs car isnt it?

I dont want to go stupidly low. just want the wheels to fil the arches more and for it to handle better..

So someone answer me how much?!!?!?!?!?!?!!?

40-50mm Id say...Im not sure on how high a rt is as standard though, Dannyts old rt was a good height on 15s IMO, think his was 40mm IIRC.

cheers martin, ill try 40 then, should be ok, my mates is lowered 35 and its pretty sturdy
