Great news!

I love how people were cancelling their pre-orders because of the Beta.

It's a f*cking Beta! A ten-month old build!

Still though come on, its in no way a fun game. f**k me my blood pressure was higher than it is when im playing MW2

Finally got round to having a go on the demo.....WOW!

After two rounds of basically perma-death I've now learnt the map a bit and up to level 4.

With the good old "war tapes" turned on and the 5.1 blasting away it sounds amazing!

Love it! I find the weapons menus a little confusing though with regards attachments/kit/specialisations etc...I'm sure I'll make sense of it soon enough...

The glitch where it won't let you set the charge, then when you die. It's plastered all over your screen 'hold 'O' to plant charge' is very annoying!

New 64 player map on the pc is EPIC! So many different battles going on that you can swing between! Its a snipers paradise!

What level do you unlock silencers for assault/engineer?

yeah mate, instead of clicking quick match, click server browser and uncheck RUSH and check CONQUEST and you have a new 64 player map until monday i believe. They are testing out the servers

Just played it. Now that's more like the battlefield I know.
Huge map, 64 player, jets, helicopters, tanks, APC's, jeeps, just as good on foot, Good old conquest.
My god does that map look good.

Im level 33 or something now, just unlocked the EOD bot in the engineer class! so much fun driving that around lol .. no one knows what to do with it! I armed three charges with it and got 4 kills! 3 with the repair tool it has and one road kill!! It's pretty epic!

i dont understand this bloody game !

ive never played a BF game, always COD, i was told this is more team play, tactical etc, its not, every fucker just runs around like mad like on COD, its the same, and quite often some foreigner has his mic on thats picking up background noise so the entire game is his mrs doing the dishes in the background

i dont 'get' this game yet, and i dont think it looks that great either tbh

i also dont seem to know where any enemies are even when they are shooting, are they supposed to show up or only your team mates ?

id decided to get this instead of COD this year but i think ill be getting MW3 instead so far

Team work depends on who you're playing with, as with all games you can get stuck with a bunch of tards. With regards to finding enemies, you can hear where they're shooting from with a decent headset, you can see a glint on scopes and spot lasers, also if the tards you play with press select whilst looking at an enemy they will appear on the map and also have a nice triangle on their head.

As AK said, there are guys who have played the full game prior to release and said it's miles better than the beta, which was 2 months old anyway. They've fixed loads of the problems and bugs, too.

As far as how it looks, well the consoles will never match the PC for graphical ability, but if it looks anywhere near as pretty as BFBC2, I'll be happy, because I loved that.

Did you play the beta at all Scutch? Graphicly on the 360 it looks much better than BFBC2 , so nothing to worry about.

Yeah I did mate. Got up to level 5 I think and called it a day. I know the score and what to expect so there was little point playing on.

Prefer a few things from BC2, the character selection and customisation screens for a start, seemed far simpler than BF3. I'm sure it will be fine in the full game though. Conquest will be awesome.

They need to (and I think they have) fixed the squad joining games.
