paint question

Hoping to respray the alloys in the next week or 2 in glass black!

The question: how to i get a slight "flake" into it similar to the black gold 172 colour.

i would prefer a slight red flake in it for when the sun hits it but not sure whether i buy it as a single colour or you can buy a laquer with it!

any advice/ response welcome

Have the paint mixed by the paint shop, black with a red metallic fleck?

thought the flex was in the lacquer?

Fleck is in the basecoat, either pick a car colour that has red flake or ask them to mix your own colour, black met with red metallic.

You can have mettalic lacquer if you so wish.

Not the best idea tho.

Powder coating would be the best thing, but don't think you can do this sort of complicated colouring.

thanks guys. May have a word with a local paint shop and see what kind of cost it will be for this

Anyone aware of a gloss black paint with a slight red in it
