Old game help

I've got an old game on CD that wont let me get passed a certain level.

Now this worked fine on my old PC, but i am now on Windows XP.

I'm sure i've seen somewhere that you can sort of roll back to Win 95 or 98, but how?

Just wanted to give it a try, so if someone could help, please.

If you right click on the shortcut, then click properties... you'll see a box pop up with a tab saying compatability, then just set that to Windows 95/98 etc

What game is it? you should be able to change the compatability on any exe file. Have ya checked the web normally theres patches even for old games so they play right on xp. www.gamecopyworld.com or www.megagames.com may have something usefull depending on how old the game is tho
