Hey folks


Had my phase 1 a few weeks now. Not the best start with it maybe needing a gearbox :-/ but ill bash on and hopefully get it perfect.


Here's a few pics of it de-stickered and after its first clean. Needs a good going over with my machine polisher but no time this weekend. Anyway enjoy!

Bright red tow strap coupled with bright yellow callipers (sp?) on a black car, doesn't really seem stealthy.

It's an orange tow strap actually lol and it came with the yellow calipers so hopefully get them changed to black or orange for a theme. But unsure on the tie strap if I'm honest :-/

As for the gearbox well I'm getting a clicking sort if vibration when turning right. So changed the drivers side drive shaft thinking it was the inner cv joint but nope noise is still the same. I also think it goes away when you put it in neutral and turn right so it's possibly the diff

Hate tow straps with a passion though. Im guessing you have it on to add some colour to the front of the car?

I've got it on as its going to be my daily and my track car. It had a stainless towing eye on it when I bought it. Still undecided. Or may get a black one?

Stealth exhaust is on the list aswell. Also wanting a suede steering wheel. What size is best? 300mm or 330?

330 is a good size I found.

Is it? I think standard is 340-350mm?so 300 must be tiny

Think standard is a lot bigger than 350mm I might be wrong though. I had a Sabelt Renaultsport wheel in my 172 which was 330mm and it was perfect.

Looks good, needs a new zorst but I think you can get away with keeping the callipers yellow IMO.

Anyone know where to get the oz stickers for the alloys? Mine are yellow and need changed

I spotted this down the Livingston multi story today. Looks great. The oil cooler looks pretty epic.

Yes yes I'm trying to get a stealth, and a cup spoiler.

And no it's not going any lower it already scrapes at the speed bumps at work lol
