My Laguna seca blue E46 ///M3

  Clio 200 cup
Hello guys been a while since I've posted on the forum, I was in pursuit of a new car after the R26 was sold but finding one was very difficult as the megane ticked all the boxes in terms of performance and running costs.

So I went away and looked at pistonheads/autotrader for a long time and decided I really liked the 350z & E46 M3 and both were similar prices, I test drove both and they were very different but both great in there own ways and my mind was made up that I would happily own either of them.

I must of viewed hundreds of M3's and they were all dogs and i really wanted laguna seca blue which is a very rare colour and there were none available which made me sway more towards the 350z and I found a perfect fully loaded one on a 07 plate with every option available in grey with 55,000 miles so I went to view and it was bought!

However after only two weeks of ownership I got a call from a friend of mine telling me that the owner of bartley bmw specialists was thinking of selling his M3 and I asked for the contact details and thought "what the hell" it's got to be worth a look, on my arrival to the guys house I was presented with an immaculate Laguna seca blue M3 with lots of CSL goodies with amazing service history as you can imagine,

Spec as follows:
2002
Laguna seca blue
2 owners
SMG2 gearbox
59,000 miles
Amazing service history
Silver grey leather
Fully loaded
Mods:
Genuine CSL wheels with pilot sports

So I sold the 350z and bought the M3 and I'm a very happy man, such a special car that gets comments everywhere I go!

Tints off and std size plates and it'll be spot on.

Very jealous!

I was after one of these a while ago but as you said, LSB was mega rare and there were non about. That looks fantastic, let me know when you sell it haha!

Yeah tints and side strips are being sorted! The tint is starting too look a bit tired and ruins the immaculate look of the car. :)

Silver wheels for me as well. I hate black alloys though lol!

I keep popping back in here to see it though. Love the colour so much.

Bloomin lovely. How do you find SMG?

Thanks mate!
The SMG takes a while to get used to as I've always owned manual cars, but for a spirited drive its just perfect it suits the M3's all out performance and when in fastest gear change setting it really is quick, now I'm used to it I doubt I would get another manual car :).

Lovely car mate, the CSL bits set it aside from standard M3's nicely and LSB looks gorgeous as well! Never seen it in the flesh before though so mut be pretty damn rare? I must say that the plate looks too small IMO, and also agree about the tints/side strips, but I personally think the black alloy suit your car nicely.

Seems a great purchase, I'd be over the moon about having that on my driveway!

Love that colour soooo much! You didn't have this off someone in Birmingham did you? There's a similar one by me so I may be very wrong

Looks lovely. As said i'd lose the stickers and change the sidestrips... But otherwise it looks pretty awesome!

Those plates are horrible!! When a car has a recessed area for plates, you can't get away with smaller plates.

Love the car tho.

Beautiful got to be the most eye catching colour for the M3 good choice and will show a 350Z up all day long. Never owned a e46 M3 but I had a Z4M shares the same engine and loved it to bits.
