I have seen my collegues car plenty of times, but last night i went back with him from bath to oxford. All i can say is i can see why certain people want to go jdm..... the sound was mint the mods on the car really differentiate from normal type-r's and the handling was simply immense... i thought i would post this thread to share it with all.......

Ok finally gotten round to taking some updated pics of how she currently stands. As the others on here were from various stages. Not brilliant but hopefully you get an idea of where she is going.

I know the wheels may not be to everyones taste being both small, and red :D, but I think they are a little cheeky...

Backbox, to be honest it looks pretty well made, seems solid, with good welds. light too. All stainless and full 70mm. I think this is gonna be LOUD!!!!!. Does have a bung though.

Isn't this car yours?

;)

Ahhh.

Looks mint. Deserves better wheels than fakey Rotas though. And a Spoon N1.

ARC Intake makes me moist.

i could see why you would want to go jdm mate, really can, totally different to the clio, build quality although it is stripped is so much better that the clio too.

The ARC is beautiful isn't it, the cage is a piece of art too

likes this, not a fan of wheels in colours other than silver/black/dark but other than that, nice theme!

what sort of power output is he getting lad?

See now? ;)

Even when they're stripped, they never rattle, shake or fall apart. You can cane them day-in, day-out... they never grumble.

The twelve year-old EK9 i nearly bought, felt more solid and better constructed than my four year-old 182.

They're constructed entirely from win, IIRC.

Not to mention the JDM scene being far less common over here, less passe, too.

I'm guessing around 215bhp-225bhp?

Is he running K-Pro?

Any pics of the ARC, on the car? It really is p**n

  GP2
That looks very well set up, all the right bits and bobs on it.

Don't like the look of the wheels much but I know the 16s are so much better than 17s in terms of performance, which is what it's all about :)

The Rotas are my (yep G here) second set and whilst the polished lip has a few marks thanks to all the salt our lovely councils throw down. They are pretty solid rims. The GT3's are tough as far as they go. And they have taken a few knocks. They are holding up as well as my Buddy Club P1's I did have on.

I do have a plan to change them in the summer for a set of Street Max S02's :D
