Mapping the Trophy Friday.

  LY 182 FF CUPPED
Taking the Trophy into JMS Friday for a remap.

Haven't a clue what I am doing, just doing it cos a mate said "it's good"

car is totally standard apart from Yozza Catback, ITG panel filter.

NOT having the over run function, just the map.
Am I going to notice much difference???

They might burble a little depending on exhaust with some smal pops, but nothing like the JMS over run map.

TBH mate I would go for it........ :)

Jms are based in uxbridge I belive, I think they are the only ones who offer the Overrun map! check out their threads in the traders section I am sure all your questions can be answered in there.

Over run map is awsome though...

Having had this as a first modification for the Cup when I got it, it does make a difference. A bit more torque which you can feel as well as what John said making it more smoother to drive. Seeing as you have a panel filter and a catback exhaust it should tie in with them mods also as they were the next 2 things I did with mine.

And to the guy that says the clios pop normally... Really?

It does make the car run better, but I don't thinks its worth £180.

Oh I'm glad I did it but I did it myself and nowhere near £180, agree about the exhaust - only time I'll replace this one is when it drops off!

Ah well thats fair enough if you did it, but there are people that are slightly unsure of how to do it and its not worth risking locking the ecu or whatever it does if you get it wrong. Its still the cheapest reflash out of all the RS tuners and specialists on here.

I used to have a decatted 1.8 16v, and that popped like a popcorn machine

Do they do it when warm? No. Anywho thats besides the point. The OP isn't even referring to the over run map.

With regards to not noticing a difference, utter tosh - unless your car was mapped by a flid that is?

They are a lot more drivable after a map, and my mpg even creaped up a little.

Agree with Nick, if your someone who wants to spend 250£ on a catback system for the noise so be it. But if you want a tangible difference in how the clio drives then a remap is the best option by far.. throw in the pops and bangs map and you've got the drama as well!! win.
