A while ago I put my key fob through the washing machine by accident, and it no longer works.
Just wondered if there is anything I can do to try and bring it back to life? At the time it was left to dry out before trying it but it wouldn't work. I replaced the battery and it still flashes the LED when you press any of the lock/unlock/auxiliary buttons.
Is it worth using anything on the circuits to try and clear any deposits or is it a lost cause?
It's off a hornet Cat 1 alarm system btw.
Any help would be greatly appreciated to save me buying a replacement as I now need a spare.
