Hi peoplez
I'm Jasper, 28 years old.
Last December I bought a standard MK1 172 (June 2001) with 95k (which is a pretty low mileage in Holland). The Clio replaces my old car (also a fantastic drive) Peugeot 106 Rallye P2.
After a week I had to replace the spanner role bearing from the multi-belt. (of course this was done under warranty) Fortunately this was the only problem I’ve had with this car.
Love: The power, and the complete package this car has.
Hate: the fact my little monster runs on RON 98, (petrol stations selling Ron 98 are becoming rare here).
Already done:
- Replaced the original panel filter by a ITG-foam replacement filter.
- Cleaning, cleaning and cleaning
Future plans:
- Refurbish the original oz wheels, steering wheel and handgrips in the doorpannels.
- Matched Inlets, fastchip/RS-tuner mod
- Lots of good maintenance
