Cheers mate, will get them for next month ☺

I'll need to order them bud, if you want me to map it with my RS Tuner. Also, I'll need to read your ECU beforehand to get the relevant number to send to Henk..before we can order it. Let me know a time you can pop in some time over the next two weeks and we can read it. :)

Thats cool bud, head over, I'll be doing some work on my brothers golf and a few people will be about, but I can plug the tuner in and read your ECU as it will only take 10 mins or so :)

Small update:

Back from a week away in Weymouth with the girlfriend and her family. Gutted I missed Llandow organised by Tony Hunter and Jay Payne maybe next year! Had a great time away anyway and the clio went down and back well!

Anyway back from Weymouth Saturday. Gave the clio a good wash Sunday and that was that

Old man's 225d whilst his M3 gets sorted out and mum's F56 cooper S. (Spaceships compared to the clio)

And on to today, was going to go to a meet with a few others today in Basingstoke but with the weather being so poor and with it being around an hour from me I decided to use my time differently..

I took it all out while keeping the seats in, bit of a pain with the seat belt (passengers side) so with the drivers side I just used some pliers to cut the door card to come out instead of undoing the belt lol. Done this partly out of boredom and save me doing all of it when the buckets come, but it only took me around an hour!

The car is still my daily, but tbh hooning around a race track in a quick, stripped out little hot hatch sounds like something I'll enjoy. Regardless if it's a pain to put up with as a day to day basis. Carper, headlining, door cards to be removed when fit the bucket seats. (next week)

I've also got the bilstein b14 coilovers on order from dcperformance, unfortunately there's a bit of a wait for them but hopefully get them fitted mid-September. Then on with saving for my 6 point saftey devices and no doubt will probably go down the route of poly windows, lighter wheels etc. I'd like the clio at around 900kg, probably won't stop there lol

Donnington Friday evening, really looking forward to it. Will be great to get the car out on track with the new brakes and alignment/camber. Hopefully Cub. Will put an RS tuner on the car soon (horrible to drive when cold imo) and should make it drive that little bit better. I know you have spent a bomb to get good results. I'm not really looking at great power gains at this stage.

Comments/advice always welcome

A few pictures from Donington. Had a great day out and the car was fantastic I was so pleased with it. Brakes were incredible and the new alignment/camber made a great difference. The car being stripped out felt like it made it a little bit quicker to

I got another set of F1's the day after from someone on here, they were slightly curbed and in silver. Plan was to keep them like it as they were only going to be used as my track wheels. But Tuesday morning I decided to drive up to Birmingham and drop them off at a powder coaters. I also ordered up some second hand 888's on ebay that were going fairly cheap. iirc they've all got over 2.5mm of tread remaining so they should be good for 2 track days.

Looking at booking Snetterton 300 for the 2nd November. Will be great as I should have the track wheels, bucket seats, coilovers all fitted and set up.

Will update as time goes on, comments always welcome

Being 6ft 4' and having no sliders I was seriously uncomfortable. Had work a couple of hours after fitting so didn't have time to fiddle about. Come last weekend I moved the side mounts back and reclined the seat more, feel a lot better but will still probably get some sliders soon. The seats are fantastic they're so comfortable and look great imo. I also took the carpet out, all that's left is the roof lining.

Picked my track wheels up this morning from Birmingham. Went up with my R888's so they got them on and balanced up at the same time.

Very happy with the colour and the finish. Got them back home and sealed them up.

My b14's also arrived.

Can't wait to get them fitted, will most probably pop down to NorthloopCup so he can't work his magic and on the way back drop my road wheels off at the powder coaters for a refurb. I've also ordered up a pair of Sabelt 3" 4 point harnesses, I've fitted the drivers side but haven't got round to fitting the passengers side. Will try get round to fitting the other one tomorrow.

Thanks for lookinh
