I'd have to agree, its a mint car, however I can't see anyone buying a modded one for over 5K with 182's of a similar age going for around that price.

Putting it back to standard I think you will get 4.5K-5K and you can get a fair amount from selling the parts.

when ive been in the dealers similar models are being sold for 5999 so id say youd get just over 5k to the right person.

Aye my plan is to put it back to standard and just take it back to dealers get them to close of the finance and start it again on a new motor ! just wondered what folk would value it at as it stands

have got a clio 1.2 16v 2001 y reg 63k 6months tax and 12 months mot
thinks it got fsh with belts done its had wheel bearings done all round, xenon kit new brakes, mk2 rear lights, colour coded bumpers and mouldings,upgraded speakers all round.

I'm looking to sell mine very soon to buy a RB182
31k, fk coilovers, cat back long life exhaust mint condition.
could put it bk to standard but i would need a new back bumper
always serviced and has had its cam belt changed at 29k

its a 1.4 16v 2004

right...need to know how much to offer the guy who owns this

got 12 months mot, 5 months tax.
exterior and wheels/tyres are great, drives ok..but does need mounts doing!
it has no real service history...and needs a good valet and few small jobs doing on it.
got a full exhaust system on it, and pipercross induction kit

he wants £2500...what would u offer? i was thinking around £1,500

Surely he wont drop the price by a grand? I'd offer £2000 and meet in the middle at £2250 based on 1st glance. Although the lack of history and jobs needed would concern me.

What exactly does it need? Proof of cambelt change?

its had 7 owners...so i rekon everyone of those owners would have probably shirked the responsibility of doing the belts. its nearly 10 yrs old aswell so thats a lot of hammering..without proof of real mechanical work.

how many posts do i have to post on here before i can post a for sale thread for my two 172's{his &hers} i'm a general car enthusiast and especially want my girlfriends old car to go to a good home as i know im gona loose alot, its got a rebuilt engine due to cambelt failure, all new discs pads tyres shocks no scuffs in or out,a stealthy powerflow system,regassed aircon, 60k 02 in black its immaculate, how much is it worth ive got it up fo £4000 on crawley fridayad.co.uk is this too much? both cars are advertised on the gtir owners forum as i'm a member on there, il take an offer if anyone has the funds now as im in a rush to get my rally pulsar ready for hill climbs cheers

is 2950 too much too ask for a 2002 iceburg silver 172 with long t&t and many new parts including brakes cam belt etc? and 4000 too much for the above car as im in a rush to sell and these are both good examples priced cheaper than others advertised yet ive had no calls so far, do cars sell on this site or is this lack of interest simply a sign of the times cheers

Depends - I would say around 3/3.2k for the first one-

Most are going for around 3.7-4k & the best over 4k- ( real minters + Belts)

cheers well if minters i goin for 4k then i reckon i could hold out for close to that figure as i believe this car is as close tonew as could be wit every major part having been replaced including belts etc, its not had a hard live and as far as i can tell will offer faultless trouble free driving for whoever buys it, the hardest part is finding people in the market for a hot hatch right now

Looking at buying a Clio 182 and having looked at the market, the prices vary sooooo much, it is hard to tell. Im looking for a newer, low mileage one but have seen them range from £4500 to £7500 depending on condition, mileage and spec

I have found one local to me that looks nice

Dont know if it will be of help to anyone but for info re prices, I traded in a 182 with cup packs, 04 plate, 56000 miles, black gold, 6cd changer, FRSH for £4000 against a 57 plate Leon FR.

The Clio needed front driveshafts, pads and discs and general tidying up, and would have needed belts at next service. The garage I traded it at has it back up for sale now at £5991!!

I have a late 06 182 sport, blue fully loaded with all extras 17,ooo miles. None of the guides show this as its one of the last 182's registered.

serviced by local renault specialist and in top condition, front passenger alloy has mark other than that superb

whats a 172 clio sport worth damaged?

hi, i have been offered a clio 172 sport for a good price but it has been in a bump, just wondered what you guys would value it at, il list the facts below

52 reg hpi clear
70k miles
4 owners (i think)
silver
leather interior, xenon headlights, auto wipers and lights, very good clean condition apart from....

took a bump in the front drivers corner, pushed the crumple zone on the chassis leg back, bent the inner headlamp pannel, and the are surrounding the cassis leg.

requires.

1 headlamp drivers side
1 drivers side wing
1 bonnet
1 bumper

still starts and drives fine, took no impact on any running gear, all other pannels are straight, did not touch the roof or subframe, not that hard of a bump.

hello considering selling my 182 and was wondering roughly how much it would be worth due to high mileage and it not being standard, its arctic blue, 04 and has done 80k 75k was done by the previous owner who was a rep so all motorway miles, it also has a full renault service history. it has a full milltek exhaust, itg maxogen, carbon fibre engine cover, cup turinis but sprayed in renault anthracite, cup spoiler, also has rainbow components a diamond sub a hertz amp an audison amp with a full boot build including fans and an alpine head unit, the only thing i can put back to standard is the sound system. has a couple of stone chips but body work is generally very good. any one have any ideas on a price?

paintwork generally in good condition (few dints etc) but i PC it 2 times a year.
Small damage to rear drivers side where someone scuffed it (hardly noticeable)
The only bad thing about it i can think of is it only has 1 key, but have had a spare cut with no plip.
I was thinking around 2.1k ? maybe more if i can but would ideally like a quick sale.
