how do i reset the clutch cable

ok long story short, i replaced my clutch cable a while ago but mechanics couldnt figure out how to reset the pedal so the clutch cover/spring bit doesnt really like to fully disengage when the clutch is hot so theres a bit of clunking
also...the clutch engagement point is like 1cm off the floor...as soon as i let go of the clutch in gear..the car starts rolling

how do i fix this? thanks

There is no need to, as the car will be totalled the day after.

Never mind/ nvm

Pull cable from gearbox
Push clutchto the floor
Let go of clutch
Re connect cable to the grarbox
Push clutch a couple of times job done.


It shouldnt really need it as its ment to do itself
