Help with serv light

Hi.... When I first start the car in the morning every thing is fine.. But when I go some where... Stop the car..go in to a shop or something which only takes a few mins.. Get back in car ..start it and the serv light is on all the time.. The next morning when I start the car the serv light is off.. Has any one got a clue what could be the problem .. Thanks

Could be numerous things - nothing major though.

When the SERV light is on it will record the specific fault on the ECU. A diagnostic tool ( preferably the Renault Clip ) will unlock the fault and tell you exactly what the fault is. Usually a small part will need replacing or you may be able to erase the fault dependant upon the problem.
