Good Car / Bad Car?

Not sure if we've had this on here - thought it might be an idea.

Basically if you have had ownership or knowledge of a car, post in this thread the registration of the car and what you know of it.

Prospective buyers would in theory be able to use the search function, search the reg, and find out some history possibly.

Obviously only for Clio's I guess.

Anyway if it stays and its any use -

KF54UTC - I was the first owner of this RS 182. I traded it for a family motor having obtained a kid. I retrofitted Recaros and Turinis. Its a good solid car and quick compared to others. At time of trade it probably could've done with a new exhaust.

N510som, good 16 valve when i had it, but that was 8 years ago, probably rotten now or backwards through a hedge, id give it a miss

I'd imagine for the search function to work properly we need a format for the Registrations to be typed.

M316VEV - Williams 2 - owned from 2002-2004, did many many many track days in it and traded it in for an Elise. Great car, never wanted for anything and I changed the oil every 1000-1500 miles, sold it with over 80k on the clock, I did 30k in the time I had it. I miss her :(

J263SJO - White 16v Clio. used and abused whilst I had it - 1997-1999 then bought it back in 2002 and abused it again, sold it to a lad in Wigan after that.

Great grey Valver, had a hill power chip, stainless exhaust and about 170k on her, used to pound the s**t out of it on a daily basis and never put a foot wrong!

Hybrid Valver, was proper quick (just breathing mods - 1/4 in the 13's) but ended being rolled on Anglesea :( still miss it.

Black ph1 172, great car, bought on 90 odd thousand miles, now on 134k and undergoing some 'changes' thats why i still own it :D

SL03SOC - Iceberg silver 172, owned from 2007 to 2009, put 30k on it, spent about £4000 getting it the way i want it, changed every engine mount every suspension bush, track rods, track rod ends, top mounts, exhaust mounts, driveshafts, has had every bit of service history you could want, always done early. cracking car!

Yup thats the one :(

Was such a beast that, had so many good times, started off as a completely standard 16v bar lowering springs, made it into the little monster it ended up as, i really wish i hadnt sold it :(

lOL at "obtained" a kid !

J264SNE white valver owned between 2002 - 2004 157k miles when i sold it , did the rear arches 3 times in 2 years !

L82DOJ white 16v. Had it for a year or so before selling it on to a member of the forum here in about 2003, was a great bit of kit when I had it, was properly used but looked after, seen a few pics of it since looking rather fettled, hope shes still going !

RY54AEE RB 182. Owned it for 3.5 years from 6 months old. Cracking car. Couple of warranty issues in first year; leaking washerjet, blown rear shock and the alternator failed. After they were fixed it was fault-free for the rest of the time I owned it.

My old RB, had 66k miles when i sold it 2 years ago!! Was a good car when i sold it, but im sure i saw it on sale somewhere with Similar mileage

Awesome little cup. had many a great time with it, few track days too and it never missed a beat (apart from when i snapped the map sensor off :dead:)

would love it back, but sure the new owner is having way too much fun in it

OBV 326T Was my first Mini. It was falling to bits back in 1990. I would stay clear. Then XCK 188Y this is a Fiat 127 1300GT. What a cracking car. I bet it has rotted away now. C134CWW it is a red nova end of people hate them on here. E131NRN was my Escort brilliant car for a 1.3 i guess that would have rotted away. Then H822CJA a Nova SR end of as said about my other Nova. Then Corsa 1.6 Sport S619OBV Then it went to G8LAS then back to S609BBV i think. This is still going.

LR05OBP Black! My little clio 1.2 Dynamique, owned from new for 2 years. Excellent little car, never had a problem with her. Part ex'd with only 10k on the clock! I'd have her back In a shot!

WR55LFZ Black/Gold Clio 182, owned for one year back In 2007. Excellent little car, no probs at all. Sold with just 12k on the clock! :D

LR08VZV White Clio 197, Owned from new, was a great car to start with! Then It all went wrong, nightmare tbh. Big mistake buying It. Clutch went after 3k, seat bolsters wore at the same milage. Lovely looking car but the worst car I had owned :(

P944 CEC - 1996 Ford Mondeo, family bought it 2 years old and I ended up having it until 2008, probably the most comfortable car I have owned, when I sold it it needed a cambelt change (had done 119,000 miles), the fuel cap cover wouldn't open unless you opened the boot and pulled the wire lol. I feel it may be scrapped now.

Had a fiesta but cant remember the numberplate as it was sold 3 weeks later after I found out it had a different engine to the one from new (was not a cat registered car), made a profit though lol.

last Clio, X177 NPO good little runner apart from it was over fueling, never got down to the cause of it, it failed the MOT as it's emisions were 10.2 instead of the 0.whatever you are alowed! It was stripped 3 times, most items replaced with second hand gear and managed to reduce the emissions to 1.0, the MOT agreed to pass it at that. Part x'd it before the next MOT for my new clio.

clio 172 cup - i loved this car, it had a little damage that was repaired to a high standard, i sold her on with full exhaust, matched inlets, remap and black turinis around 4 years ago - i missed her thats why i got a 182 this week!

That williams is currently offroad needing brakes and suspension works. It hasnt changed owners since i forwarded your number re: service history found. (Username change since that time)
lad refuses to sell it. :smile:
its safely locked away in a lock up.
I wish he would sell it to me :(
