Genuine Renault Parts

  MERCEDES CLS AMG

Due to the large amount of people enquiring about "spurious parts" for there renault cars i thought i would give you a bit of an incite as to why its a good idea to buy genuine - ok i know sometimes they are a bit expensive but most of the stuff is surprisingly cheap

eg - a genuine 3 piece clio williams clutch kit £69.90 !!

clio 182 / 172 genuine oil filter £5.87 !!

clio 1995 16v 1.8 driveshaft o/s £62.90 !!

clio 1995 16v 1.8 starter motor £69.90 !!

A brand new 1.8 16v distributor + cap £55.41

( these prices are all retail and can be reduced by up to 30% trade as well )

If you buy a brand new genuine renault part from Renault that it comes with a 12 month guarantee. If the part goes wrong due to it being faulty you can take your car to a Renault dealership and providing it is the part that has malfunctioned, they will issue a warranty job card and refit a brand new part in the renault workshop, done by renault technicians under warranty with no labour expenses incurred to the customer.

Now you try and get that service from GSF ?? Is it not worth paying that little bit extra for a genuine item - any parts enquiries and costs just pm me and i will give you the part numbers, retail and trade prices for any renault

Anyone happen to know how much they charge for MK2 Phase 2 rear bulb holders? Since were on topic about Reno parts. Purchased lights without them :(

  MERCEDES CLS AMG

they actually come as part of the complete light - you cant buy them separate. Part number is 8200071414 £41.06 each. You can actually fit the ph1 mk 2 circuit board into a ph2 mk light and adapt the wiring.

The lights are on a discount code 01 though which means renault pay £21.53 each for them........so be cheeky and ask for 25% trade discount !!

01 * 02 * 03 * 04 * 05 * 06 * 07 discount codes

50 * 45 * 40 * 35 * 30 * 25 * 20 % off retail prices that renault pay

eg - if it retails at £60 and its on a discount code "02" it means renault get 45% off the retail price which is £33.00 !!

Just to make things nice and clear, the guarentee would only stand should Renault themselves fit it though, right?

FCUK!!! Bought them off a guy on here and I later discovered that he butchered his MK2 PH1 bulb holder and held it on with duck tape! His lights were then in the wrong sequence! Guess ill have to do my rounds at the scrappies :(

yes - but having a qualified renault technician fit the part and do it correctly, free of charge is a very good service indeed

Alrighty Matt? I need a OSF electric window regulator for a ph1 172 and OS electric heated wing mirror for a 51 Megane Fiji. Can you let me know prices please?

just bought std front disks and pads from bbpt, the pads were def stamped as renault items with a part number on them, also fitted straight on, maybe bbpt sell genuine renault OEM parts, i bought them cos the advert on their website suggested they were OEM equivalent but the pads did seem to be renualt items, not sure about disks though, were £96 delivered for 2 front disks and set of pads, went on a treat too, even came with new screws

When I went for new pads and disks all round on the 172 ClarkieV6 said stick to genuine as they are decent, same went for my old 19 always used genuine parts :)

I think Id rather pay less, and if it goes wrong get a replacement from GSF and fit it myself. I wouldnt let a Renault monkey loose on my car. Not one from this area at least.

:devilish:

In fairness Lookers Stockport did a good job when they replaced my rad under warranty. They also kindly highlighted the f**ked rad tray and corroding brake lines!:(

You mentioned the other day that you had some 17" wheels for MK1 V6s knocking about... Any chance you could let me know how much for a full set?? Looking for a set of wheels for track day use. Thanks

Mitch

Is that a brand new one or an exchange item?

Mat.

the exchange items renault do are new believe it or not - the reason they do exchange is so you have to take your old unit back to them as it stops the reconditioners getting hold of them and putting renault out of the market - it works as well, some second hand gearboxes are impossible to get hold off ie Renault Master & laguna 2.0 16v ( N7Q type )

part number 7711134045 £69.90 + vat

most of the specialists will sell you the genuine renault parts (same price as renault, maybe a wee tad cheaper)

SG motorsport is near you

As a trader I expect the best you get would be code 2?

Do you have a code for 80 or 90% off oil filters and spark plugs etc?

What about a code for 10% off or even less if the part is VOR order?
