Hi, I have had my first Clio 182 ff both cup packs silver for 20 months and have used this site for info during that time.

I thought I should do the right thing and pay up to show appreciation & support for this site which has saved me a lot of money.

I have had most of the common Clio faults during my ownership.

Leaky headlight N/S & O/S washers(1 way valves fitted)
Fan heater failed(removed hit with hammer and wd40'd)
Failed dogbone (now powerflexed)
Failed lamda sensor(replaced)
Failed standard exhaust(now fitted an rs192)
Snapped front coil spring(Eibach pro kit installed)
Worn ball joints and track rod ends (all replaced)
Cracked front splitter ( Skoda Fabia jobbie now)
Rear number plate light corroded causing dash to light during braking (replaced bulb, fitting and harness)
Failed rear dampers(replaced for new renault items)
Cracked N/S foglight(replaced for new)
New engine mounts all round.
New top mount kits the newer revised design.
New accelerator pedal as it had a non sport one fitted when I bought it.
New hazard light switch which died when i installed a new stereo.
And probably a few I forgot to mention.

Currently I am in the process of:

Needing 2 new front wheels due to skidding on ice last Janand kerbing the front 2
New Powerflex ARB bushes old ones look battered.
Another new fog light as the glass has cracked again.
Handbrake cable just snapped too, got them on order.
I have to get the gearbox selector seal fixing kit.
I need a new sump gasket too.
Oh and I just hit 72,000 so cambelt and dephaser will need doing too, I will be getting Fred to do this work as he is nearest and as far as I am aware the ultimate Renaultsport specialist.

Love the car but boy is it expensive to keep the thing running.

To everybody who has had similar experiences I would like to say thanks for the heads up and information. Hopefully I will return the favour one day.

Regards

Marc
