E36 Track Tart

  BMW M5 & E36
Brilliant. Whered you learn to do all this kind of stuff?

Which bit specifically?

Anything mechanically I'm all self taught, welding the same etc. E36 in particular is some reading, some pointers from others, but mainly just getting stuck in and getting on with it. I work on agricultural stuff for a living so cars certainly aren't my day job.

So the weekend after having the car MOT'd I had the alignment done at a local place. 3deg front camber, 2.5 deg rear camber, zero front toe and a tiny bit of rear toe in. The numbers aren't crucial, it was just important to get the car even left to right and driving straight to make further changes from.

The following weekend was the cars first trackday at Cadwell Park. Couldn't have asked for a nicer day, weather was glorious and the car behaved brilliantly. So much more entertaining to drive than any of the Clio's ever were. Mega chuffed.
