It's no good now unfortunately... I can no longer login! It tries to pull down an update (either a 300kb update or a 1.3mb update) and then gives me and Error Code Wasp. Every time. I've uninstalled, re-installed, changed network router, changed network settings, everything I can possibly do. And I still can't get in. So... I'm fed up. Thanks Bungie. I'm now stuck with a 50 quid green brick of a game it would seem. Bungie suggest I return the Xbox One to Microsoft for fixing as it's potentially a hardware bug... hmm. Seems that every other game and app I have works just fine.
Not happy. Especially as it worked fine the other night when I took it to my parents so I could play using their broadband!

Blimey! I really don't know what else to try mate. Bungie have just assigned one of their online staff to check it out as it seems to be a problem only affecting Xbox360 and Xbox One users. I hope they fix it soon. I might just keep trying in the meantime. You never know...

Think I will be trading my copy in for Forza Horizon 2 on Friday.
Well I did one of the multiplayer missions (the one that says xbox gold needed) and I must say, it was great fun!! Me and 2 other lv 12 guys battling through a level 16 mission! This game definitely gets better with time. Same with PvP, I now have a rifle with 105 and for the first time I have come second on my team
I love the changed they have made to the crucible. I picked up my xbone on Monday and the difference between the 360 is amazing. The game runs so much smoother and the graphics are really crisp. I'm level 28 now, missed out on the queens wrath armour dismantling trick otherwise I would be 29-30 by now!

Got bored. Sold it for £33 on eBay. Bought it for only 50p more. Cheaper than an arcade machine.
I'm level 24 and still loving it - the main joy is doing a strike mission with friends and just trying to outdo each other, then going back to the tower to check out new loot.
The gunplay is great, fluid engine, great mp...but yes can be a bit repetitive going to the same locations. This game will live/die on the new and evolving content, and if they try charging £20 for each bit of DLC as rumoured then I think they will be killing the beast before it had time to grow and mature into a true killer.

Pfft. It's been a week now and I still can't connect / login to play this game. The sooner Bungie fix this damn 'Wasp' issue the better. I wonder if they'll refund?
Wasp issue, what is that? I've had no problems myself really.
Last night myself (level 24), and 2 mates (26 and 23) tried to do the weekly strike mission on v hard and after about 2 hours of trying we had to give up as the final boss was just not dying - still had at least 1/3 life left on our best attempt. Was very disappointing, might try again just on hard but have to do the whole lot again now!

are you using an ether net cable or wifi for connection? I find wifi connection is utter shite for destiny.

When things go wrong (generally network related) the game throws up an error code of some sort; such as "Bee", "Cattle", "Centipede" and "Wasp" - although there are many more. Sadly the Wasp error hit me on the 24th/25th September when an update was auto-launched and I haven't been able to get into the game since. Each time I login the game contacts the Destiny servers, attempts to download one of three updates, and then errors with the "Wasp" code. Same place every time. There are quite a few people affected and it seems to be Xbox 360 and Xbox One users suffering.
I've' tried both mate and I get exactly the same problem in the same place. I've uninstalled, re-installed, etc. and nothing works
I'm level 25 and still enjoying it - the missions are great fun when playing with mates and now I'm working through upgrading my second subclass specialisation it is feeling fresh again. I don't know why everyone is saying they're bored - there is at least as much single/co-op as say Halo and good multiplayer (although need a few more maps and modes, admittedly)
The actual gameplay itself is slick and rewarding and I'm still having fun, challenging and rewarding - which is the main thing for me!

Liam, do you mean controller sensitivity? If so, you do realise you can change that in the settings? Definitely makes a big difference!
I have a legendary pulse rifle which I've levelled up a fair bit now, and it is a true monster. I find this class the best all rounder, and you can adapt how it performs quite a lot with the different attachments

I meant the look sensitivity, I have it on 10 and it's still not all that fast! I like having it as high as possible to spin round 180 degrees quickly.
Also, I can't seem to find a rare helmet/leg armour. They are the 2 bits letting me down in defence.
You'll get rare easily if you keep playing - I've been struggling for legendary stuff. I've received 4 bits so far - but 2 have been duplicates, and 1 wasn't for my class!
Just got the legendary shader and emblem from the Queen's vendor though - really want the queen's chestpiece armour and a better ship.
I like how you have to work for all the really good stuff personally, if it was too easy it wouldn't feel very rewarding

Just buy the legendary stuff from the vanguards, or the crucible stuff from those guys. Much easier.
I got a legendary engram from the cryptarch which turned into a legendary hand cannon.. which is great for bosses but I really need an auto rifle

I am levelling up my defender titan sub-class and it's really good for boss fights and on control too - although the main shield power is more of a team buff than an individual kill, you can augment it with more damage/faster reloads for when you're inside it, plus it lasts for ages.

Destiny is still a very enjoyable game for me. I'm mainly smashing PVP at the moment with the introduction of the iron banner. Being level 29/30 it's pretty easy at times.
I had a good go at the Vault of Glass on Sunday night... Got to the final boss by 06:00 Monday morning but we couldn't finish it . Luckily I was working nights I really enjoyed it.

Weapons can be used by any class, armour is class specific. If you ask me though, there should be some weapons which are class specific, e.g. only Titans should wield rockets, Hunters should have snipers, Warlocks should have...something! What I think shouldn't happen is winning equipment your class can't use. As you can't sell it, it's pointless. I have 2 hunger legendary items sitting in storage.
The vault only appears when you are like level 22 or something, although you shouldn't even contemplate it until level 26 in a fireteam of 6. I've still not tried it yet as only level 25

VOG is made up of so many parts, if you were with a bunch of mates it would be pretty easy as you know your team... but a bunch of randoms like i done last week and it just so hard getting everyones names right and organising people. Its made up of a number of different challenges.
1) You have to raise a tower but standing on 3 pads and prevent the vex from entering. Normally requires 2 per pad so 6 in total.
2) Then you have to find a chest which contains legendary engrams
3) You have to do a pretty similar task again but it is defending 3 areas.
4) You then have to destroy relics, if you don't in a certain time your teams gets infected. You clear the infection by jumping in a pool of light.
5) Boss 1 - Can be done with 2 people if needs be, one has a shield of light. The shield drops the bosses shield and clears the infection as there is also relics to destroy on timers.
6) Is a maze, there is a chest to find. In the maze are Sharpies and if they see you, you die. so you have to creep past them as they can't be killed.
7) End boss, which has been beaten in 5 mins by using a glitch.
All the above took the team i was with about 8 hours and we didn't do the end boss. I imagine we could do it in about 2-3 now but getting everyone online at the same time would be too hard.

The resource I'm currently lacking is ascendant energy/shards...just don't seem to be getting any. Think I have just 2 or 3 of both and need 18 to just fully upgrade my helmet!

So desperate to get in on this... hopefully Bungie will have a fix soon and I'll be able to login and play!
Running the public events gives you a chance to get them, aside from running VoG
I'll add you tomorrow (I'm at 25 or 26 at the mo) and need people to run those weekly strike things with
