dci 65

hi guys i just purchased a dci 65 on a 02 plate every thing is fine except a tapping/leaking noise coming from what sounds like on of the injectors almost sounds like air leaking at high pressure for a split second very revolution of the engine if that makes sense. not to bothered if its gonna cost a few quid to repair as i only paid £500 for the car .
I was thinking injector seal unless anyone with knowledge of these engines knows of anything else.

went to renault and purchased 2x copper fire shield washers, removed injectors etc, removed old washers fitted new ones problem sorted cost me £4.01 :approve:

for future reference, if you stick a wee bit of water around the injectors you will see what ones are leaking, quite a common problem at least its a cheap fix!

ha ha not selling it for at least a year, its in good nick as far as i can tell the only thing i can find wrong is both front shocks are leaking. the previous owner just had a new turbo and injectors fitted so hopefully should be trouble free motoring for a while.
surprised me how nippy it is for 65 bhp its easily as quick as my megane dci 120

oh and good idea about the water makes sense
