To resume it say 220hp and a torque of 280nm, the max torque of the gearbox semi auto EDC 6 speeds, it will be difficult for a future reprog ECU...

what ever he means by that. Surely the gearbox isn't on the limit from standard

220hp and lighter than the 200 so should go well...

Doubt the box will be at it limits. I make the above out to mean actually remapping with the type of box will be difficult?

Maybe (like the Nissan Gtr) the box has its own ecu that is unprogrammable (until someone hacks it)

Think its gonna be a belter tbh.

Struggle to believe its going to be 220bhp + 100kg lighter than exsisting car as that would equal rs265 ptw?
And with the dsg style box it could turn out to be quicker with would be silly of renualt wouldnt it?

BMW did the same thing with the 1m Coupe & the M3 they just adjusted the official figures to say that the 1m Coupe was 0.1s slower to 62

Cant wait to see official spec, ..but 220bhp - no chance! Itl be 210bhp and weigh no more than 50kg lighter.

still gona be an epic machine! It wont disapoint.

Those alloys are horrible!

No doubt it will look better in the flesh though. That said, I had the privilege of being passed by a black on black (with spoiler) RS200 the other day and that looked awesome. Just from the pics I've seen, it doesn't look like it can match the out-going model in the looks dept. imo.

I still don't get that hideous front end or the arched panel on the side of the car which isn't colour coded?
Figures in that mag are speculative at best.

DON'T FORGET in this French test it is not the RS but the "little 90 hp TCE" which will be the 1st version on the market

Sure for me of course the RS will have a much more racing and more aggressive look
