ph1 wont go into reverse. Would just about go in with PMS shifter if you try a few times and held it there, wont go in at all with stock shifter. Have changed the linkage bushes as there was a bit of play, but no different. Have adjusted the rotation of the linkage rod in numerous positions but no change.
If i push up the reverse collar in the gear turret I can select reverse from underneath the car with a little extra upward motion to the gearbox selector but feels like it is a two stage motion IE there is some resistance in the upward movement of the gearbox linkage into the box itself
If I remove the gearbox end inspection plate will that give me any clues ? thinking it has to be box related ?
