Hi just traded my e46 bmw in for a 182 it's had the belt and de phaser done before but will need doing again next year so I'd rather get it out the way sooner rather than later. I've had a good look through the site but can't really find the answers I'm looking for. Before anyone shoots me down I'm a fully qualified mechanic of 10 years and have lots of experience with Renault timing belts all bar the vvt engines so I know all about the floating pulleys. I'm more than willing to buy the genuine Renault tools including the cam pulley locking tool the main thing that's worrying me is all the talk of autodata being wrong with the belt instructions. Can anyone shed some light on this ?
