Blowing exhaust manifold? D4F 1.2

Hi guys. Got a lowered mk3 and drove over a dead badger with a couple of passengers. Made abit of a ding noise and ever since the car makes a blowing (drone?) noise at as the engine passes certain rpms. 3500 is the worse. Holding the accelerator down a little and hovering at 3500rpm lets of a continuous noise. Passengers in the front and back all seem to pinpoint the sound coming from the front near the engine.

I had jacked the car up on axle stands and took a look down the entire exhaust system (all standard) and everything appears fine except up front at the Manifold. I'm not really experienced with engines but there is oil build up underneath the manifold. I'm not sure if this is normal or how long the oil could have been there for or if it could be the Manifold gasket leaking??

Here are some pictures. If you click the thumbnail it will open up full size.

Any ideas or suggestions I'm all ears. Thanks guys.
