Did the green RS run in the end? Me and Martin passed it as we were leaving, didn't think it was showing up!

Looks a beautiful example. Can see me ending up in a White Facelift ST next...

Why were they saying no? In case it tried to launch itself through the wall with that torque? Lol
 
Like the white ST. What's going on with the front bumper? Looks kind of RS but doesn't cater for the RS' lower headlamp trims. Hybrid custom bumper?

Oh and fogs. Defo modified ST bumper?
 
It's still the standard bumper but the grills and bottom middle section of the bumper are painted gloss black which make it look a little RS-ish. Got a gloss black splitter on it too.

Aye Maxwell's couldn't run in that environment its far too dangerous, the amount of strapping down it needs is outrageous and the his tyres over heat after 2 runs. Even then you need to have people sitting on the wings to try and give grip and even then it trys to climb out the rollers. He says he's tried various dynos and has issues at them all even sitech say they are struggling for ideas to keep testing it,they just can't get the power down to the rollers,I think hub dynos are his only option.
The gtr couldn't run because it was mapped and it would throw the car into limp mode by overheating the clutches which is a known problem with tuned gtrs,
the TTRS even though it's perminant 4wd and the traction off etc the ecu was still shooftying the power front to back trying to give grip so it only made like 230bhp, even though that's obviously not the case. The rs3 would be the same.
It's a shame the big guns couldn't show bit neither us, John or the owners wanted to risk any damage.

Just for gaz we are in talks with Ecotune in Glasgow to do another dyno there once they get their 4wd kit installed probably in July/August. We had a very successful one there a few months ago but it did take a lot longer than Extremes rollers.

I'll post the results up on the BeTapp'd Fb page tomorrow I left them at work today.
