Anyone run steelies on track days?

  H&R + Pole Position'd Cup
I've got a spare set of 15's sitting in the garage.

Anyone use them?

What are they like weight-wise compared to turini's for example?

I carn't see weight being a problem as im sure they'll be alot lighter than 15in alloys but venting for brakes yeah

I'd agree with Fred, I used to have alloys on my old fiesta, and after it was handed down to my sister, I put the 13" steelies back on it. Went for a spirited drive in it with the steelies on, and I scared myself with how soon the brakes faded.

I've heard people say that they don't dissapate the heat well enough and then become a mission to get off.
Just get some cheap alloys. Valver Ph2 alloys are dirt cheap ffs 15"x6.5J

Havent read it all but generally there crap for cooling brakes etc, and because of the material they generally can become very difficult to remove.
