182 Not starting as it should....

Lads and ladettes,

Over the last couple of weeks on two occasions she's not been starting properly. The engine turns over but doesn't seem to create the spark to start the engine. I've never had any start up issues in my three years of ownership.

On both occasions I've managed to get it going on the third attempt with a bit of gas ( from the engine not my rear ).

Is this a common issue? Anyone had similar symptoms?

tdc sensor maybe. without plugging it into computer to see if owts logged u wont know till it fully goes

As biojo says get it plugged in to see if any fault codes have logged. Could be owt from tdc to faulty coil pack.

I had this and it was immobaliser related, never did bother sorting it though, is the immobaliser light flashing on the dash?
