172 engine mounts

are the engine mounts on the 172 engine the same as a 1.8 16v engine?

is it an easy swap to put a 172 in a mk1??

engine mounts are different... iirc, the 1.8 mounts make the F4R sit too high, but the 172 mount is about right

take a look in the projects section... Beaniemoo, geesus and myself are currently fitting 172 engines to mk1 clios... theres also a lad fitting a turbo 172 to an R5

ok ill have a gander in the projects section, my plans may be out of the window now as the f4r lump i was bidding on has been taken off eghey, think itll be a boggo valver conversion now then...hhhmmmmm meg 2ltr bottom end sounds good.......
