172 Cup, power hitting a wall at 4K

Once it goes over 4K its like it hits a wall, or there is no more fuel coming though or power allowed thru (cat??)? It pulls fine until juts over 4K

Any ideas, I have changed the coil pack and leads, and there is no engine management light?

knock?/lamda sensors?

is it proper struggling as above in limp mode? or is it just feeling low on power, has it had a cambelt recently?

Nope.. fixed it.. It was the leads.. I tried a new coil pack, and it got worse, So i assumed it was the leads (as i moved them fitting the coil pack). So got new leads.. Still the same issue..

However, i thought I just would try the old coil pack to rule out each element. Old coil pack + new leads = fixed.. Now to send back the coil pack..
