Hi Dan, as you've said, that's all that's been done to it performance wise really, no cams unless a previous owner had them fitted but not to my knowledge. Those figures are pretty impressive compared to other clios.
i just thought when i put them up for sale it sounds better when i know what they were fitted to, because all i have to go on at the minute is they are just 13 inch citroen wheels.
i wonder if it has the same stud pattern as saxo's and 106's as that would make them abit more wanted i suppose
according to google they do not exist, absolute nightmare to find what they are off.
they are 4 stud.
apparently you can still order them from citroen for £146 each but they don't say what car they are for
Hi,
any of you guys have any idea what citroen these wheels were fitted too? i have got 4 of them, brand new never had tyres fitted, just a few storage marks. they are 13" with a polished lip. i have spent about an hour just trying to find what the part number links too and looking through...
hi guys,
looking for a price on what my black gold 2005 clio 182 is worth. done 71,000 miles, has almost full service history, belts done around 3 years ago only covered around 10,000 miles since, will have 12 months MOT. body work in pretty good condition had a full valet and machine polish...
have they done away with one of the rear exhaust hangers? i'm guessing those studs sticking out the boot floor is where it used to be.
if you just buy a cat and get some pipe welded onto the end of it and cut off the olive joint then it will just fit straight onto that system, i did the same...
i made a solid (no flexi) rear pipe on my 182 about a year and a half ago as a temporary thing to get it through its MOT and it has been ok all that time and it gets used daily. i do actually have the replacement pipe i just keep forgetting to fit it, haha. but when ever i inspect that pipe it...
so, it's almost been a year since i last posted on here in that time i haven't really done alot to the car in that time, mainly enjoying driving it. since the last time i posted i have:
fitted 2 new driveshafts
fitted new bulbs all around and nightbreaker xenon bulbs and main beam bulbs and...
as dangerous dave has said those tyres aren't very good and are probably the problem. i'm going to take a geuss that they are avon zz3's, at the garage i used to work at i would always see zz3's wearing like that and alot of other cheap directional tyres.
do you have any access to code reading equipment? you can buy super cheap ones of ebay for like £15-20 which would do the job of resetting the light and is cheaper than pretty much all garages i know off would charge for a code read and fault erase. like i said i don't know if it is a fault...
does the light need to be reset before it stays off? it might have logged a fault which won't go off until the fault has been erased.
i took my carbon canister off ages ago and replaced it with a resistor from maplins and my engine management light has never come on but i do always get a fault...
you could also try hitting the disc very hard with a hammer from behind, if you drilled quite far through the bolt then it should shear off with not too much hassle and then the rest will probably just come out with a pair of mole grips or even by hand if it isn't tight in the threads.
this one was caused by a hare at 2am christmas day last year, i wasn't a happy bunny to say the least! all i saw was a tiny hare run out on the road then quite a thud as it snapped my carbon splitter clean into 2 and shattered my front bumper. 2 months and £400 later it was back to normal.
haha, it was always nice and shiny whenever i saw the car. the cooksports lower the front by 25mm and the back by 30mm but IMO there are just perfect.
i even gave him the bulb to do the interior light with, haha
yeah i never really liked them but they've grown on me a lot.
i have my old plate in the boot with mounting screws in case i ever get pulled for it. i don't think it is too noticeable though.
i have spent yesterday and a bit of today fully cleaning the car and giving it a proper wash and wax etc.
i washed if first with autoglym shampoo, then used the autoglym claybar set, then i gave the car a thin coat of autoglym paintwork restorer stuff, then 2 coats of autoglym resin polish...
so today and yesterday i have:
removed the dash to try and find and fix an annoying rattle that's been there since i bought it
fitted a new climate control unit (LCD screen was dodgy on my old one)
fitted new bulbs to the centre console clock unit as one was blown
stripped down the drivers side...
my girlfriend said you flashed or put your hazards on but i didn't realise, i waved last second though, haha. your car looked clean, i live just down the road from you too (leeman road) i'm surprised i don't see you more often.
