Genuine bearings from Renault the first time they needed replaced, then two sets of mintex after that. Now about to fit my third set.

Im about to fit my 4th set of discs in 2 years. All for bearing failure. Always refit the spacer the correct way and torque correctly. What's going on?

No speedo or miles meter is a fail in N.I.

I second that. Bought my ph2 172 with 60mm springs and it was awful! Crashed and banged everywhere. First thing I did was source a set of 172 cup springs. Thing drives superbly now.

I had a bad earth believe it or not. New earth straps and cleaned contacts and all is good,,,,, for the moment :o)

Might not have worded it well there, all belts and pulleys included the dephaser. It was replaced but it does sound a bit rough on start up. Bit like a blow out and only for a minute.

No immobiliser light problems, won't start when cold, turn the key and hold it in the start position, nothing happens for about 30sec then it fires up. Might be a bad earth...

No the light flashes as normal and goes out when I try to start it. Only happens when it's really cold outside!

I take it you mean you want to flare the arches, as there is no return edge / lip to roll. I would advise you to see if there is a camber kit available for the Clio, and not to just put washers behind the stub axles to get the angle your after. Only my 2 pence worth.

Sorry Lauren but your plate isn't legal there, it is supposed to be SECURELY fitted to the front of the vehicle. But loads of people do it!

Our rally cross boys over here run extra cut slicks in competition, and run gravel tyres on gravel events. If you are using your car in competition you will be bound by the regulations as what you are allowed to use. If its a road car and you want a bit of fun on the lanes then it's standard mud...
