Yh thats the only reason holding me back from purchasing a set. And dont worry the 16v badges will be coming off soon. Just a question would people approve of the wheels if they were re-painted a different colour or do most of you still want to change them?

Right i have found some Bilstein coilovers here http://www.coiloversdirect.co.uk/bilstein/info_10.html do you know what the difference is between these and some of the cheaper ones on the market and what would you recommend?

yh they are you can chuck them in to any corner. really, that believe it or not is quite good my first years insurance was 3k and now in second year its 1.5k but yh its mental for how much you have to pay to insure a 1.2 clio

exactly mate they were a hand down off my dad who has a 172 and they were on his car when he bought it but hes put some new rims on it since. Engine management light came on and it wont start and had diagnostic bloke round and he says I need a new accelerator unit so when that's sorted i think...

lol not much love for the wheels haha had to get some new ones as my last ones were battered paint was flaking off and tyres were coming off them, but these were free so not going to complain lol.

I've seen them, heard someone say it took their premium quotes down from £3000-£8000 to around £1000! Anyone got any experience they actually work?

Thanks. My clio took a turn for the worse last night as she wouldn't start up and when she finally did when i went to add some revs nothing happened and eventually it cut out the engine. I was just wondering if this is because of the accelerator and if so does anyone know how much it will cost...

Hi guys, i found my insurance to be sky high on a 1.2 clio also so I was just wondering if anybody knew any tips on how to bring the massive sum down? ive also heard in car cameras can bring the premium down has anybody tried them?
