Pretty sure I recognise the plate from here, undertaking me in the pissing rain on the a19 wear bridge.
Really in that much of a rush? Wasn't really impressed by you speeding past me and the other cars overtaking, clios aren't that great or that quick- you ought to take more care.
I'm convinced standard broadcasts are being made deliberately worse quality to encourage us to buy HD packages. I thought it watching the GP last weekend and watching the football now it seems even more apparent.
Is it just me?
Pics can be found here.
Thanks to everyone from Cliosport for turning out :)

I also have a Photobucket album full im currently putting together, link to follow.
Passed you in traffic coming along the A1027(I think) heading towards Stockton and past norton, I was in the 172cup.
Didn't catch a reg plate but you had a big exhaust hanging off the back of your car :)
I'm wanting to treat the clio to some new shoes before selling it :). Has anyone got a good source online for a decent branded good value tire?
I have tended to use T1RS Toyo Proxes in the past, more out of habit than anything so I tend to use them as a benchmark as I know what I'm getting...
I was in the 172 cup with the black bonnet coming towards you on east lea bank, pretty sure I saw the forum stickers in ya rear quarters ;) cars looking smooth, a damn sight nicer than the Clio which was infront of you.
Here's the predicament...
3 snapped front wheel bolts (1 of which is a snapped locking nut)
1 locking wheel nut stuck on with no mcguard tool to remove
The options I've started going through are;
Rag the wheel and try to snap the remaining bolt off then attempt to drill out 4 snapped...
Is the way I'd describe my Cup at the minute. I quite like it :)
New exhaust fitted last week, which is a great upgrade from my Ktech :)
My mates little'un was dying to take it for a spin but his feet don't reach the pedals :(
I was just starting to clean it as It began...
Here you go guys, the arrangements for our BBQ/Meet for this Sunday :) Everyone is welcome and id love to see some old faces from times gone by regardless of what you drive or new people who want to get their first meet under their belts.
Venue: Preston Park, Yarm
Time: 12 o Clock
Date: 22nd...
106owners/corsasport meet at Penshaw monument on Sunday...
Organised by a good friend of mine and it looks like we should have a decent little day, we have a nice spot sorted for pics, I'm taking the BBQ along to knock up some grub and a football/other entertainment for giggles.
Herrington...
Gave the car a quick clean today, after being In the bodyshop it was very dusty and it needs machining again IMO... As well as some headlight correction, luckily chris205 is only down the road :)
Few little changes since the last pictures:
Spray job on the Bonnet + Pins fitted
SKODA...
After advice from the CS.net audio gurus
List of wants:
Headunit in glove box (already have the unit nice kenwood with 4by50watt output)
Good sound quality up front (never take passengers)
100% stock appearance (nothing cut to fit eg parcel shelf)
Plenty bass
No unnecessary weight...
Chris205 gave my car some love over last weekend, it pissed down on the way home and ive driven about 200 miles since then but a quick wash and its still looking lovely :) A couple of more goodies left to fit and its winter refurb/treat will be complete.
I nipped out tonight when the light...
The guide on here has been great getting me through the pads and disc swap on the rear of my 172cup but ive hit a stumbling point.
The disc is in place, everything tightened back up but I can't seem to get the pads to secure. They are just floating loose and that can't be right surely...
Ive got a LOT of photos from the meet today, heres a selection! ill be uploading more over the next 24hours , cracking day and nice to meet a load of new people from here.
Are the belts a necessary job? My Cup has done 75k and I'm most likely selling it this year, but I wanted to replace the Dephaser pulley before it goes so it doesn't sound like a tractor when idling :)
Just wondering if it would be best for the car and the sale if the belts were changed at...
Apparently so anyways
Dirty scruffy car, but couldn't resist taking a photo when I realised where I had been parked for 2 hours lol... Very lucky not to get clamped/ a ticket, one for the photo album though!
Come this March I'm finished paying off some money and a sharesaving scheme from works pays out so its either new car time/modifying time for my 172 cup. Basic options are:
1. Supercharge my 172 cup, spend money upgrading other bits and bobs as I'd have about £6k to spend. One of the...
My 172cup has been sounding dreadful recently, the dephaser pulley needs replacing so I'm planning on doing the belts as well. I've got a very competent garage close by (manic motors) who normally work on my car, what I was wondering was is it worth the extra travel to see a Clio specialist...
My drivers side windscreen wiper stopped working randomly tonight in the snow, I'm going to need to fix it in the morning before work at 6am! Passenger side is still going strong but fairly pointless without it's mate working in tandom.
What's the most likely cause and am I gonna be able to...
172 Cup, that was me in the Cup beside/behind you tonight... Car looked very clean mate, went good as well :)
I wasn't willing to do the last 1/2 mile to the tunnel that fast lol but you looked steady enough through it.
Give the clio a quick clean and polish today, wont go into details cos i aint no pro but its come up ok. Theres loadsa bits ive noticed while getting round it which i need to tidy up, but theres plenty time for that. Its only sporting 16v badges as the 2.0 ones keep getting robbed, i live in an...
172cup with black 15s a front splitter and much lowness :) car looked mean
I don't recognise it from here but the small front plate/show writing on back window leads me to beleive it may be , I was in a 172cup with yellow turinis who was infrot of you for a few mile.
Saw a lovely trophy parked up when visiting friends near Warrington today, reg plate T600PHY or T60PHY- car looked awesome, Put my cup to shame a little as it was very dirty having drove from Newcastle :)
