but the chances of him "wrapping it round a tree" is increased due to his reduced experience on the road, why do you think insurance premiums are so high for him compared to a 21-22 year old?
he started the op to find out people's opinions and experiences on the mater, and as you can see most...

Any help would be brilliant

Basically im replacinging my front two tyres this week, ive narrowed it down to the toyo t1r (due to price, and having them on my old car) and the hankook v12 evo (due to the raving reviews on the forum).
my question is basically, i found the toyo's on my last car (zetec...
you did say you wanted 16/205/45. i have been serching about for a new set of tyres recently and ive found the 16/195/45 do come out abit cheaper and reading previous post they dont seem to make any difference in tyre performance.
check the toyo t1r(sp) id recommend them if your lookng for...
why dont you just sell the 17" tyres and then buy 16"? apart from anything it may work out that you loose a little money selling the 17" but surely if you were to buy tyres in the future they would cost more?
i would personally recommend
1. rinse the full car with hose or ideally a preassure washer to remove the top crap
2 wash wheels with there own bucket, using a few different brushes (tbh i use a toilet brush and find it better than most "detailling brushes") u will probs need a proper wheel...
