hey guys. after allot of hassel ive realised my clutch is seized up and needs replacing but im getting confused at the prices the garages are quoting me. they are saying its 6 hours labour!!! i really cant see why it would take that long. does anyone know if this sounds right for a mk1 ph3...

Yeah. It's doesn't even have enough tension to move the cable under the bonnet so I know it must be the pedal side

hey guys. really need help this time. i stoped at the lights the other day and i heard a crunch as i put my foot on the clutch pedal. i thoughtit was the clutch cable snapping (this has happened before) i managed to push car onto the sire of the road and have a look. the cable was fine...

Any ideas?

Hello Just a quick query for all those who have painted MK1 RSI sideskirts, the rubber seal thing that goes around.... do u take it off? and how? because i can get some of it off.... the round the bendy bit it broke...# Any thoughts?

Hello all I did search before i posted... basically when i am pulling away at round about or somewhere i need a it of speed. i get and awful squeak when i chanhe into 2nd or 3rd... it nearly sounds like a wheel spin... but i really doubt it is.... and ideas?? Thanks as always!!

Extremely easy to replace locks. done it on mine took about 10 min each on doors . 5 min on boot and 20 on ignition (min was bent) :) got the full set with key from scrappy for £10

Hmm. i started the car today as normal but as a pulled off turning right there was quite a loud whining noise... It sounds like one of those remote controled cars.... But its only when im turning right slowly (under 20mph) And ideas?? Its kinda Annoying
