I learnt on a Bandit, very nice bikes, silky smooth engine too

Its a great bike, very stable, slipper clutch is awesome, brakes are good (not as good as the 750 I test rode though for some reason). Running it in has been a pain though so it hasn't felt that fast, under 7k for 500 miles then under 10k for 1000. I wouldn't say I stuck to that all the time...

ZX-10R is a beast! I know what you mean about not being able to behave, its so easy to get to licence losing speeds! 1st gear on a ZX-10R will probably take you over 100mph! crazy! I tend to take it easy on the motorways/dual carriageways but when you get to the country roads the fun begins...
